EBT: RETRAIN YOUR BRAIN FOR HEALTH AND HAPPINESS


Emotional Brain Training (EBT) www.ebt.org is a program that equips you with the skills to pop your brain from stress to joy. Practicing these skills - getting a shot of joy each time – gradually retrains the feeling brain – the center of pleasure drives and stress – to favor positive emotions and resilience to stress.

In a state of balance and reward, the whole range of stress symptoms and cravings begin to fade. EBT is not just having freedom from overeating, overspending, overworking, smoking, drinking, relationship problems, anxiety and depression, but experiencing a high level of vibrancy and well-being.

The EBT skills, which are often missed in childhood, give us the capacity to warmly and securely connect with ourselves, to grow fulfilling relationships with others, and to experience a greater appreciation for the mystery and grace of life.

EBT was developed at the University of California, San Francisco and combines leading research in neurobiology, psychology, addiction, stress and nutrition science in a program that provides improvements in mood, relationships, behavior, weight and health. In fact, it is so effective, that Health Magazine named it "One of the Top 10 Medical Advances of the Year".

NUTRITION CONSULTATIONS USING EBT

Whether you are interested in losing weight or want to improve your health or mood, I offer individually tailored nutrition consultations to participants enrolled in EBT. The method I use, EBT, promotes vibrancy and satiety, and, if needed, facilitates weight loss. I can coach you to use EBT skills that will enhance your own motivation and commitment to change, and teach you tools for quieting cravings.
